I did another shower this weekend with the famous {sleeping baby} It was a very sweet tropical theme. Check it out!

Ontario Turns FIVE!

So I just did really fun cupcakes for our God son Ontario, for his FIFTH Birthday!!! Alexia said this was his first real party, and you could tell because he was SO excited! She did such a great job with the decorations! She had a halloween theme and asked me to make 40 cupcakes to match his little invites! I love doing kiddie cupcakes because you don't have to worry about being so perfect! Besides that they're just plain FUN to do!

I had another fun order this weekend! My "across the street" neighbor Monique(LOVE HER) was co-hosting a baby shower for her cousin and asked me to make 100 cupcakes! I love doing big projects! She wanted the traditional pastel colors and just something CUTE! Well I think they came out Pretty DARN cute!! The first design I did was the bow cupcake with a scalloped round ....
I have seen these cute pea in a pod cakes and cupcake before! I have always wanted to try them and Monique made a special request for these! They were really fun to do and came out CUTE!

Kobe is One!!!

One of Reggie's best friends, Charlie is a HUGE Lakers fan. So much that he named his little boy Kobe! So the only appropriate theme for his first birthday was.....LAKERS!! So he asked me to do a jersey cake with his name and the number ONE! For the smash cake we did a little basketball and it turned out to be one of the funnest cakes I've done so far!

Kung Fu Panda!

So there is a new movie coming out..Kung Fu Panda, and I had a mom request that I do a cake that could match this theme! Her son Maddox was turning TWO and she wanted to do something extra special!

This cake is a 10 in 2 layer vanilla cake with buttercream filling and frosting.

She also wanted some cute party favors! I made panda face cookies and put them in these black Chinese boxes to go along with the Kung Fu Panda theme! They turned out so cute!!

Touchdown!

Last week I did this really cool cake for one of my good friends, Miguel! He has been a fan of my cakes for a while now and him and his wife Tamarria are so supportive! Thank you guys!!!

He wanted a football field cake for his boss's 50th birthday and told me he was also a Denver Broncos fan! So I knew that I could make the cake look realistic by using my grass tip(cake decorating 101 :0) ) and adding fondant pieces for the lettering, football and goal post! Well it turned out great and from what I heard everyone loved it!

A Baby is Blooming...

So I co-hosted a baby shower this weekend and it was so much fun!!! The shower was for one of my very best friends Venetia!! I have known her since high school and I love her to death! She is such a cute chick. During her whole pregnancy she has held it together and she looks beautiful! We all lost our mind when we heard that she was having a little girl! Its been baby boys around our circle for two years now, so we couldn't wait to buy PINK!

So the theme of the shower was "A Baby is Blooming" I ended up doing alot of fun stuff!!!The invitations I made on the computer with a little help from Microsoft Publisher and http://www.snapfish.com/ , the website that I get ALL of my pictures from. Once they came in the mail I stuck them on a piece of cardstock and embellished them with GREEN and MOCHA ribbon and tadda.......cute baby shower invitations!

For the favors I made flower pens and baby onesie cookies. I got the idea out of my new Conffetti Cake Cookbook that I got for Mother's Day!! The cookies are a vanilla sugar cookie covered with royal frosting for a nice soft bite!

This is the cake that I ended up making too! Venetia got a kick out of the her little sleeping baby! She loves funfetti cake, which I don't know a soul who doesn't! So we used that for the little cake and all the cupcakes too. The top cake is covered with fondant and inside is a funfetti cake with buttercream frosting!

Baby Shower- Block Cake

I just did this baby shower cake! It was so much fun to do. I got the idea from this little block in my sons room. I looked at it an thought that it would be cute cake. My sister in laws best friend just adopted a new baby boy, so I couldn't wait to use this idea for her baby shower! I hope she loves it.

This is a chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream filling and is covered complete green fondant. The teddy bear is made of fondant also! Feeds up to 25 people.

Black and White Polka Dot

This cake I created last year for my two friends joint birthday party! They were turning 24 and they were have a black and white themed party!

This cake includes three tiers of chocolate and vanilla cake with chocolate and vanilla filling. The frosting is a rich buttercream smoothed to look like fondant! There is a black ribbon trim for accents.
